MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team is 78th in the August rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.
Since the release of the previous rankings Igor Kriushenko’s men had one match (0-2 against Finland in Tampere). The Belarusian team currently holds 1,306 points. Belarus’ opponents in the UEFA Nations League group stage go as follows: Luxemburg is 85th with 1,287 points, Moldova is 175th with 957 points, San Marino is 203rd with 876 points. Belarus will next play San Marino at Dinamo Stadium on 8 September.

Ukraine is ranked highest among the post-Soviet states (35th, 1,468 points). Russia goes 49th with 1,410 points.
