MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian postal service ranked 32nd out of 173 postal operators in the Integrated Index for Postal Development 2018 report, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry.
Belarus placed between Croatia (31st) and Ukraine (33rd). Among the post-Soviet states Belarus was surpassed by Estonia (13th), Lithuania (22nd) and Moldova (27th).
Switzerland ranked first and was followed by the Netherlands and Japan.
The ranking was released by the Universal Postal Union as part of the Postal Development Report 2018. The ranking is based on the performance across four dimensions of the 2IPD: building reliable, well-connected, relevant and resilient postal services.
