MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – The international specialized agricultural expo Belagro 2015 opens in Minsk on 2 June, BelTA has learned.

This year it will take place in the Minsk indoor football arena at 20/2 Pobeditelei Avenue. The expo will stay open till 6 June. The program of the event also includes international forums Belfarm 2015 and Belproduct 2015.

Partaking in the expo are companies from Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, China, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland.

Participants of the forum will display new models of farm vehicles, cutting-edge equipment and technologies for farm production, latest achievements in animal husbandry.

A wide range of foodstuffs made by Belarusian companies will be displayed at collective expositions of Belgospishcheprom Concern, the Agriculture and Food Ministry, Belkoopsoyuz, all Belarusian regions.

Joint expositions of Belarusian enterprises will be organized by the Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences. National expositions will be organized by Poland and Hungary.

The agricultural expo will also have a business program with numerous events aimed at developing agribusiness. The expo will traditionally include a contest for the best dairy cow, a contest of ploughmen, the Champion of Taste contest, and other events.
