MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) - BC Tsmoki Minsk advanced to the Final Four of the European Women’s Basketball League (EWBL) after stopping the visiting Nika Syktyvkar 70-59 at home on 12 February, BelTA has learned.
Belarus clinched a 75-69 win in their first encounter in Russia on 30 January.
Zabiny Brno secured the first ticket to the Final Four by winning the series against SBS Ostrava 153-92 (71-47 and 82-45).
The other quarterfinal pairs are Dynamo Novosibirsk v Orange Lions The Netherlands, Rostov Don Russia v Piestany Slovakia.
The four winners of the quarterfinals will progress to the main stage of the competitions (21-22 March).
