MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – FC BATE Borisov defeated Hungary’s Vidi 2-0 on Group L matchday of the UEFA Europa League on 29 November, BelTA has learned.
BATE's home defeat of Vidi gave the Borisov team a chance to stay in the game.
The first goal was scored due to Nikolai Signevich’ header from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. Mirko Ivanic scored the second goal with his right footed shot from the left side of the box to the bottom left corner.
In the same way BATE Borisov had defeated Hungary’s Vidi in the opening match of the UEFA Europa League group stage on 20 September.
In order to proceed to the playoff, BATE needs to defeat PAOK in Thessaloniki.
