MINSK, 28 March (BelTA) - Three-time Miami Open champion Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, currently ranked 186 in the world, has reached the Miami Open semifinal after beating Czech world number six Karolina Pliskova 7-5, 6-3 in one hour and 37 minutes, BelTA informs.

Earlier, the Belarusian came through World No.44 Catherine Bellis of the United States, U.S. world number 15 Madison Keys, Latvia’s world number 17 Anastasija Sevastova, and Poland’s world number 32 Agnieszka Radwanska.

Victoria Azarenka will next face U.S. Sloane Stephens, world number 12.

Victoria Azarenka won the Miami Open in 2009, 2011, and 2016.
