Azarenka moves up to 26th in WTA

MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – Victoria Azarenka of Belarus went up to the 26th spot in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

Before the start of the prestigious tournament in the Indian Wells, the former world number one was 32nd. After reaching the event’s final Victoria Azarenka improved her position by six spots. Now the Belarusian goes with 2,505 points. Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka remained second in the WTA with 7,115 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich moved up to the 84th with a total of 850 points. Olga Govortsova goes 132nd with 567 points.
