MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – Victoria Azarenka of Belarus has advanced into the Miami Open 2018 round of last 16, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian battled through Latvia’s Anastasija Sevastova 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 to progress to the fourth round. Victoria Azarenka will next face Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.

Aliaksandra Sasnovich and Aryna Sabalenka both lost in round two.

In the men’s doubles opener Belarus’ Max Mirnyi and Ryan Harrison of the United States lost to the Brazilian-UK tandem of Bruno Soares and Jamie Murray 3-6, 4-6.
