MINSK, 1 February (BelTA) – Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has been awarded a wildcard into the main draw of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells due in March 2018, BelTA has learned.

Victoria Azarenka posted a video message on the internet to thank the organizers of the competitions in Indian Wells. She noted that it is one of her most favorite tournaments, with great fans and perfect organization. Victoria said she would like to play there and hope to come to Indian Wells in March.

The BNP Paribas Open tournament at Indian Wells I scheduled for 7-18 March. Victoria Azarenka won the tournament in 2012 and 2016. It was earlier reported that the Belarusian player had received a wildcard to Doha which is due in mid February.
