Azarenka back to Belarus’ national team for Fed Cup

MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Victoria Azarenka is making her return to the Belarusian national team to play in the World Cup first-round tie in Braunschweig, Germany on 9-10 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Tennis Federation.

Tatiana Poutchek’s team will also include Aryna Sabalenka, Aliaksandra Sasnovich, Vera Lapko and Lidziya Marozava.

Jens Gerlach’s side will feature Andrea Petkovic, Tatjana Maria, Mona Barthel, Laura Siegemund and Anna-Lena Groenefeld.

The winner will earn a spot in the semifinals to face either the United States or Australia.
