GOMEL, 15 August (BelTA) – The international plein air "Colors of My Land" will be held in Mozyr District on 15-25 August, BelTA learned from the project manager, Director of the Gomel State College of Art Yelena Zeybek.

The program of the plein air includes master classes, field sketches in the picturesque places of Mozyr District, and exhibitions. Taking part in the event will be members of the Belarusian Union of Artists (Sergei Ignatenko, Yuri Platonov, Vasily Peshkun, and Alexander Kostyuchenko) members of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, professors of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, Gomel State College of Art, and children’s art schools. The event will culminate with the final exhibitions of plein-air works in Mozyr and Gomel.

Yelena Zeybik noted that the plein air aims to share experience, develop cooperation and create a gallery of artwork. "We hope that the event, which will be held for the first time, will give a successful start to the interregional and international contacts in the field of professional fine art," she said.
