MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – The Minsk metro construction workers have unearthed some ancient gold coins which experts believe may date back to the times of Russian Tsar Nicholas II, the ONT TV channel said.

All the found coins are of 5-ruble nominal value.

The coins have been handed to the administration of Minsk’s Oktyabrsky District for temporary storage. Then they will be transported to the Museum of the History of Minsk. After necessary expert services the coins will make part of the museum funds.
