MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – Alina Talay of Belarus won the 60m hurdles event at Gugl Meeting in Linz, BelTA informs.
In the final attempt the Belarusian clocked 7.97 seconds to claim gold. Slovenia’s Marina Tomic came in 8.21 seconds. Bronze went to Ivana Loncarek of Croatia, 8.25 seconds.
The Belarusian leading runner will next take part in the Belarusian championship for the prizes of the Sportivnaya Panorama newspaper that is due in the Mogilev sport center Olimpiyets on 19-21 February.
Alina Talay has also been preparing for the IAAF World Indoor Championships 2016 in Portland, the United States.
