VITEBSK, 18 March (BelTA) – A signature style for the 24th edition of the international art festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk has been developed by the Vitebsk Cultural Center, Alexander Sidorenko, Director of the Vitebsk Cultural Center, Director of the directorate of the international art festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, told a press conference on 18 March, BelTA has learned.
The trademark of the festival remains the basis for the artistic embodiment of the style of the festival in printed and video materials. This year, the symbol of the festival – a cornflower consists of sparking crystals in the night skies framed by a network of neon beams. “The cornflower got new colors mirroring a variety of cultures represented at the annual forum of arts. The palette includes blue and violet of the flower complemented by numerous bright festival colors. This set of colors may be associated with starry nights in July, or a life of a big city, or a kaleidoscope of festivities and onward progress,” author of the signature style of the festival Darya Volkova said.
Alexander Sidorenko stressed that the signature style of the festival is traditionally used in printed and video products and souvenir manufacturing. It will appear on tickets, posters, diplomas, accreditation cards, T-shirts, cards, notebooks and pens. It will be also used in promotional and presentation video clips of the festival.
