2023 CIS Games: Belarusian archers clinch two silver medals

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – Belarusian archers secured two silver medals at the 2nd CIS Games in Belarus on 9 August, BelTA has learned.

In the women’s final the Belarusian team of Anastasia Nikiforenko, Aleksandra Strelets and Natalia Tretyak lost 1-5 to the Russian team of Svetlana Gomboyeva, Viktoriya Namdakova and Nurinisso Makhmudova.

In the men’s final Russia’s Mukhibullo Makhmudov, Buyanto Tsyrendorzhiev and Sergei Tsyrenov defeated Belarus’ Stanislav Barlyugov, Timofei Prilepov and Anton Tereta 6-0.
