MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko attended a meeting dedicated to the 2017 IIHF World Championship in France, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian embassy in France.
The meeting was organized by the Ice Hockey Federation of France for the Ambassadors of the 2017 IIHF World Championship member states in Paris.
Pavel Latushko met with President of the French Ice Hockey Federation Luc Tardif and Director General of the Federation Eric Ropert. The parties discussed organizational issues related to the participation of the Belarusian national ice hockey team in the championship next year. Close attention was also turned to visa support for Belarusian fans planning to visit the championship in France.
Luc Tardif and Eric Ropert praised the high level of organization of the IIHF World Ice Hockey Championship in Minsk and welcomed the productive cooperation between the French and Belarusian ice hockey federations.
The parties agreed to maintain working contacts on the organizational matters regarding the 2017 IIHF World Ice Hockey Championship in France.
