MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – The international exhibition-presentation 100 Ideas for the CIS opened in Minsk on 12 April, BelTA has learned.
The exhibition features 45 projects from six CIS countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. Works are presented in 13 nominations. Among them are Industrial Technologies and Industrial Infrastructure, Living Systems (bioengineering technologies), Medicine and Healthcare, Information Technologies (IT Sector). Taking part in the exhibition 100 Ideas for the CIS are 60 young people aged 14 to 35 years.
On 12 April Minsk is set to host a meeting of the CIS Council for Youth Affairs. Its participants are expected to consider 11 issues. They will hear out Belarus’ report on effective forms and methods of implementing the state youth policy in the country, consider the implementation of the action plan for 2018-2020 of the CIS international youth cooperation strategy, draft concepts to develop cooperation between the CIS member states to support the youth volunteer movement and its action plan for 2018-2020. The meeting will sum up the results of the 100 Ideas for the CIS project, discuss the development of the CIS international youth cooperation strategy for 2021-2030. The focus will also be on the preparation of the CIS forum of youth organizations, 13th Youth Delphic Games, and the CIS Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
The participants of the Council will attend the ceremony to award the winners of the national youth competition 100 Ideas for Belarus.
