Kupala Night or Kupalle, one of the oldest Slavic holidays, is still popular among Belarusians. It was celebrated in Zavodskoy District of Minsk on 6 July. The program included a concert, thematic sites and several photo zones, as well as predictions for the future from the Kupala witch. Children and adults took part in games and competitions, danced round dances, had fun and looked for the coveted paparats-kvetka. The highlight of the evening was the lighting of a large fire. After that, girls, women lowered their wreaths into the river.
