Bard Music & Fishing Festival 2018 record: Nikolai Shepetov catches 40kg catfish

The Bard Music & Fishing Festival is not just a music event. On 28 July festival participants were invited to take part in fishing competitions. 18 fishermen (5 individually and the rest as a team) took part in the event.

By midday Nikolai Shepetov from Bobruisk boasted his catch: a two-meter 42.5kg catfish. Nikolai Shepetov was born in Bykhov District. Although living in Bobruisk, he often comes here to fish. “Last year I caught a 54kg catfish, but it was not at the festival. It is the first time I have participated in the competition,” said Nikolai Shepetov.
