The Kossovo palace has been described as a miniature castle from days of old. Each of the 12 crenelated towers represented one month of the year while 365 small towers represented days. Thanks to the special placement of the lancet windows and the system of corridors the palace had a unique feature – sunlight fully flooded one of the palace’s nearly 100 rooms for two days and a half every year.
