Experimental sample of Belarusian electric vehicle
The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus rolled out the experimental electric vehicle based on GeelySC7. The electric cars are eco-friendly, maneuverable and comfortable.
“The engine is 60 kWh. This is approximately 80hp, quite enough for the city. Maximum speed which we tested was 110 km/h,” said Sergei Poddubko, the Director of the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the NASB.
Power drive of the vehicle can be charged using an ordinary wall outlet and a special charger. According to the developers, “if the voltage is 220V, the charging takes six hours. If it is higher, then it will take about four hours.”
