The Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, which annually sets records of attendance, celebrated The Night of Museums 2017 with the program "The city falls asleep, the museum wakes up" on 20 May. At dusk, the visitors were immersed into the atmosphere of the war years. Just for one night, the exhibition halls saw tankmen, pilots, antiaircrafters, gunners, partisans, members of the underground resistance movement, military correspondents, and nurses. They told the visitors about the events of the bloodiest war in the history, about the difficult everyday life at the front and, of course, about the heroic lives of the witnesses of the Great Victory.
