A lifeguard beaver sculpture on the Augustow Canal

A two-meter lifeguard beaver sculpture (created by Sergei Zhilsky from Grodno) was set up in the tourist camp in the village of Nemnovo on the eve of the new season. The symbol was not an accidental choice: beavers, which are rightful owners of these places, created a heap of trees on the Chernaya Gancha River. The ferroconcrete beaver holds an oar and wears a bright red life-jacket with a sign "Lifeguard" on it.
