The Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery

The Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery
18 Mar 2017

The 18th century building at 15 Svoboda Street was chosen by Mikhail Savitsky as a place for a future gallery. With his consent the building was reconstructed and rearranged as a museum with an art gallery.

Today the gallery showcases the recreated studio and office of Mikhail Savitsky, a number of rarities closely connected with his life: personal belongings, awards, documents and photos, letters and books with the artist’s autographs.

The gallery holds art exhibitions of famous artists and hosts cultural events.
