Belovezhskaya Pushcha celebrates Maslenitsa

On 25 February, the estate of the Belarusian Father Frost hosted celebrations that marked the end of the Maslenitsa week and bid farewell to the Mother Winter. The celebrations featured contests, songs and dances, and the traditional burning of the Maslenitsa scarecrow. Tourists were invited to join the Belarusian Father Frost in seeing the Mother Winter off to the journey to the North Pole.
