Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko lights Christmas candle in Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko lit a Christmas candle at the Icon of the Mother of God of Minsk in the Holy Spirit Cathedral. The head of state was greeted by Metropolitan Pavel of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus. Attending the service in the cathedral were parishioners, representatives of Orthodox brotherhoods and sisterhoods, Sunday school students.
