The drama “People of the Marsh” directed by Viktor Turov was released in USSR in 1981. Back then it was viewed by more than 4 million people. The film received Best Acting Ensemble Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Later Viktor Turov directed the wonderful eight-episode TV series.
