Nationwide sports festival for the working youth Olympia 2016

Olympia, the nationwide sports festival of working youth, is held in Belarus since 2004. This year it has once again drawn active and ambitious young people from all over the country under the motto “Youth Chooses!”. Traditionally the festival is held in Volozhin District: a tent camp on the banks of the Isloch River brought together 20 teams representing ministries and departments, government agencies and leading enterprises of Belarus.

In addition to sports competitions, the program included interactive educational projects, presentations, concerts, creative competitions, meetings and master classes from well-known people. The central event on the first day of the forum was the Open Dialogue. At the panel discussion “Youth and Politics: Formula for Responsibility” about 400 youth leaders discussed their concerns with representatives of the BRSM Youth Union, the President Administration, ministries and departments of the country.
