For the first time, the large-scale project Freaky Summer Party, which draws a growing number of people every year, abandoned its traditional location near Komsomolskoye Lake for Belarus’ first amusement park Dreamland. On 23 and 24 July, Minsk residents and visitors were invited to enjoy outdoor activities at different ‘islands’ of creativity that included a plein air, music venues, a children’s playground, and another 50 zones with a variety of games and entertainments.
The Edutainment section offered lectures on urban planning and business. The lectures were delivered by recognized specialists who gave the audience advice on effective use of space in a big city and on doing business in the Belarusian capital. The program of the festival was eventful with numerous art installations, street art workshops, accessories fairs, games, contests, parties and concerts featuring famous Belarusian performers.
