Chinese Lantern Festival at BSU

The Chinese Lantern Festival Yuanxiao took place at the Belarusian State University (BSU) on 22 February. It was held to celebrate the end of the year according to the traditional Chinese lunar calendar (the Spring Festival). The university hosted a concert organized by the Confucius Institute of the Belarusian State University, Minsk schools and gymnasiums teaching the Chinese language.

The Lantern Festival has been organized by the Confucius Institute of the BSU with the assistance of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Belarus.
