Father Frost and Snow Maiden Parade in Minsk

Hundreds of Fathers Frost and Snow Maidens, and favorite fairytale characters such as bears, monkeys, robots and even the heroes of the Star Wars fantasy saga gathered in Minsk downtown. The New Year’s heroes moved from Nezavisimosti Square to the Minsk Town Hall on Svobody Square to be greeted by thousands of Minsk residents and guests together with Minsk Mayor Andrei Shorets.
