Today is the main voting day for electing the president in Belarus and in the country’s diplomatic missions abroad. Over 6,000 polling stations are open from 8:00 till 20:00 to allow every citizen to use their right to vote for the candidate they deem worthy. There are over 6.9 million registered voters, with about 7 million ballot papers printed for the key election event. Spare ballot papers represent at most 5% of the total.
