Prayer for Belarus

Metropolitan Pavel opened the Prayer for Belarus ceremony with blessing the country and its people. The people in attendance were then addressed by the Belarusian head of state who noted: “The prayer is not only the address of believers to God but also the expression of sincere and deep feelings of all of us and of the Belarusian people to the Homeland, our common home which wellbeing is our paramount concern.” Music compositions to honor the country were performed by famous Belarusian singers and church choirs.
