International festival Ancient Minsk

The festival Ancient Minsk which brought together over 300 participants from various countries kicked off at 11:07: symbolic 10 hours and 67 minutes marked the date of the first mentioning of the city in The Tale of Bygone Years in 1067. Minsk residents and guests watched the reenactment of landmark historical events and visited three thematic platforms: a camp of Medieval knights, camps of the Russian Army and the Great Army of Napoleon represented by the 18th infantry regiment of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and a partisan camp of the Great Patriotic War period.
