National Children’s Center Zubryonok

The resort zone of Naroch also boasts its famous children’s center Zubryonok, which once made part of the list of the Soviet Union main children’s camps alongside with Orlyonok, Artek, Okean. In modern Belarus it is the biggest children’s camp. It is well-equipped and runs educational and health-improving programs.

In summer about a thousand children come to Zubryonok for each of its five shifts. In recent years the children’s camp welcomed children from more than 40 countries.

In 2014 Zybryonok celebrated its 45th anniversary. Today the center unites seven residential facilities (Lazurny Ostrov, Lesnoi Dom, Ozerny Prichal, Solnechny Gorod, Zvyozdny Mir, Zelenaya Polyana, Raduzhny), a health unit, a school, a game room, an art center, stadiums, gyms and sport grounds, a tennis court, a swimming pool, and a beach on Naroch Lake…
