10th Edition of the International Youth Theater Forum M@rt.contact

The 10th edition of the International Youth Theater Forum M@rt. contact was held in Mogilev. The city on the Dnieper brought together theater companies from 10 countries: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Israel and Germany. During a week the audience saw 19 performances ranging from the established classics to experimental and street performances. For the first time the festival went without a professional jury. The awards were presented by a youth jury. They named the winners in the original nominations: Best Theater Comic Play, Happiness, Delicate, Genuine and Moving Directing, Filigree Sharp Practice, and Search For Answers. The Grand Prix went to the Meyerhold Center (Moscow) for the production One Day We All Will Be Happy based on Yekaterina Vasilyeva’s play.
