Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum 2024
International Christmas Opera Forum brought together outstanding performers from around the world on 10-15 December. The 14th season was opened in the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus with the opera The Main Question by the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theater Volga Opera. The costumes and scenery for it were generated by a neural network, the libretto and music were written using artificial intelligence, and one of the main roles will be played by a robot artist. Opera lovers also saw classical productions Le nozze di Figaro, Eugene Onegin, Turandot. At the end of the forum, a gala concert The Legacy of Elena Obraztsova starred laureates and prize winners of competitions dedicated to the outstanding Russian opera singer, one of the greatest representatives of the vocal art of the 20th century.
