People's Unity Day rally in Brest

Belarusians are united by the desire for peace and love for their native country, Brest Mayor Sergei Lobodinsky said at a rally to celebrate the Day of people's Unity. Representatives of local authorities, diplomats and Brest residents laid flowers at the foot of the memorial to the Soviet soldiers-liberators who died in 1939 and 1944-1945 and observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the defenders.
