Belarus win modern pentathlon team gold

The Belarusian State University of Physical Education in Minsk is hosting the modern pentathlon tournament of the 2nd CIS Games on 10 August.

The team medal event followed the individual final where Belarusian Mariya Gnedchik and Mira Buraya clinched gold and silver medals respectively. The team gold went to Team Belarus 1 comprising Mariya Gnedchik, Mira Buraya and Anastasiya Malashenoka, who finished fourth in the individual event. Silver was collected by Russia. Egypt placed third.
