PM criticizes foreign recommendations for economic reforms in Belarus

Belarus’ PM estimates necessary investment for five-year period at Br200bn

According to him, Belarus is working on a new comprehensive document, the National Infrastructure Plan, for the new investment cycle. “For the first time we have gathered all infrastructure needs for the five years into one document. As the head of the state instructed, we have developed a specific action plan envisaging resources, responsible executors and state programs. No chaos or disunity,” the head of government said.

PM: Belarus’ government will do everything necessary for IT sector

According to him, the developed IT sector will ensure a large-scale implementation of digital technologies, from infrastructure and scientific support to informatization in traditional industries and services. Implementation of 5G in Belarus will help develop digital technologies further.

Belarus’ PM announces 500 investment projects in industry

Plans are in place to attract more than Br80 billion in the manufacturing industry and implement more than 500 investment projects.

Belarus will launch 26 new projects worth a total of Br2 billion in all regions of the country, which will use domestic resources. Thirteen clusters will be set up in promising industries.
