Belarus would like to set up joint ventures and cooperate in missile engineering with Ukraine, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at an expanded-participation meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky on 4 October.
“This is not just about trade. We have taken a decision in principle. The intergovernmental commission that will convene in Kiev (we agreed on this, too) will pass specific decisions on the establishment of joint ventures in Ukraine. As of now, nine big companies (from Belarus) operate here, and also in Belarus,” the president said.
