Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Pavel led a Christmas Eve vigil service in the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Minsk’s major Eastern Orthodox church, on 6 January. The priests were clad in white robes, which was meant to emphasize the purity of this holiday.
