Ice sculptures, winter treats and handmade souvenirs: Christmas fair opens in the Pesochnitsa venue in Minsk

Another Christmas fair opened in Minsk on 1 December. Here Minskers can purchase handmade New Year souvenirs and hot drinks, including tea from a samovar, and a great variety of treats. By the way, food is in focus of the fair because Pesochnitsa (which means “sandbox”) was initially set up as part of the Gastrofest food project. This means that the fair offers Christmas sets suited to every fancy ranging from burgers and hot dogs to waffles, and also winter entertainments near the Christmas Tree.
