25th Minsk International Film Festival Listapad

This year Listapad, the main film festival of Belarus, one of the largest in Europe, marks the 25th anniversary and invites lovers of cinema to get to know the big, wide world. This is the slogan of Lіstapad 2018 in honor of the movie directed by Kira Muratova, the famous Russian director who the MIFF celebrates this jubilee season. The program opened with Cold War by Pawel Pawlikowski, director of Ida, the winner of Oscar and two awards of Lіstapad 2013. Big premieres, retrospective programs, documentaries, young Belarusian cinema, and, for the first time, a fulldome program... All in all, the playbill includes 167 films from 48 countries including newcomers Kenya and South Africa. The children's program Listapadzik will offer six movies-revelations on the theme of childhood.
