The meeting of Alexander Lukashenko with activists of the BRSM Youth Union in the Palace of Independence

Belarus has benefited from steering away from radical ways in matters of life and development of the country. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with the most prominent members of the Belarusian youth organization BRSM.

Alexander Lukashenko said: “We live in a very complicated period of transition from one system to another. It is true that not everyone understands from what and where to we are transitioning. This is why in Belarus we don’t make pompous statements about from what and where to we are going. We just live and build on what we have, making the world a better place. We don’t throw out all the good things we had in our past. I never say that we are moving away from planned economy to market economy.”
