Race in felt boots in Lepel

On 24 January, the city of Lepel hosted its first race in felt boots (valenki) during a big sport fest. There race include four events: for men, women, children, and a race in costumes. Participants were to cover a certain distance wearing valenki. Runners-up received thermal mugs with the logo of the race and winners got a pair of felt boots.
