Novaya Rossiya orchestra opens Yuri Bashmet International Festival

Maestro Yuri Bashmet and his state symphony orchestra Novaya Rossiya opened the 12th edition of the Yuri Bashmet International Festival at the Belarusian State Philharmonics on 27 September. The orchestra prepared a program of the best music masterpieces for the Belarusian audience. Maestro Yuri Bashmet conducted and also performed solo.

The 12th edition of the Yuri Bashmet International Festival is taking place in Minsk from 27 September to 8 October. The festival, first held in 2006, has proved to be one of the most important cultural forums, which gathers outstanding artists of the present day.
