Linen Merry-Go-Round 2021 Festival

Flax is a symbol and a visiting card of Belarus. Fabrics, shirts, towels, dolls – these are just few examples of items and souvenirs made in Belarus from the so-called “northern silk”. It is no wonder that this national treasure has its own festival. This year’s program includes a wide range of events: music performances, arts and crafts exhibitions and workshops, an open-air exhibition dedicated to linen, themed zones, a linen parade and a fashion show, tastings of flax treats. The main character of the festival is Klyusymka, a mythological field spirit.
