La Belle Helene premieres at Belarusian Musical Theater

Jacques Offenbach's operetta La Belle Helene (The Beautiful Helen) premiered at the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater on 10 November. The piece parodies the story of Helen's elopement with Paris, which set off the Trojan War.

The show honored the main director of the theater, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation, Professor Mikhail Kovalchik, who turned 80 years old.
