On 26 May, the torch relay of the 2nd European Games was welcomed in Braslav District, the lake district of Belarus, one of the favorite holiday spots for Belarusians. The torch was carried across the local landmarks: the boat station near the city's main beach, the legendary Castle Hill. The Flame of Peace was taken to Mayak Hill, the most famous lookout points offering truly unique views of Braslav lakes. The torch covered part of the way by traveling across Lake Drivyaty accompanied by sailboats.
